She got her start early on at local open mics around the city, with her first show at the
Tin Roof Cantina, drawing a great crowd…
and they haven’t been able to escape her since, since she was able to turn that into a regular hosting gig. See? Made for the spotlight!
While she has appeared on Adult Swim and has been featured on HLN Network, Shelby is also happy to play in the background (specifically in wardrobe, by making her actors look fabulous in various films and television productions).
She has also assisted on multiple platforms including FOX, Esquire Magazine, and a few national commercials. Shelby is thrilled to be a part of the Hand Up Stand Up team, because helping people matters and the spotlight really is better when shared.
When that feisty Italian family of Shelby’s isn’t busy inspiring her, they’re probably busy being disappointed by her dark humor instead.
Either way, she provides a memorable laugh!

Montana Doran got her start in stand-up comedy when a church single’s event hosting nearly 100 guests in Atlanta needed a live comedy act and mentioned that she’d be the perfect person for the job. Little did the event coordinators know that stand-up comedy had been Montana’s dream job most of her adult life and she never actively pursued it as a career because it wasn’t a “real job.” The opportunity to perform that night was literally a God-arranged opportunity and Montana had the entire crowd rolling throughout her entire 20-minute act. The rest is history in the making. Now Montana continues her weekly podcasts interviewing special guests with comedy, encouragement and insight on every topic relevant to real life in the 21st century to an audience that spans the world. She performs comedy and speaks live to crowds in the hundreds on topics concerning singleness, confidence, overcoming trauma, college culture, post grad life, social media, and mental health. Personally, Montana has a degree in psychology and is available worldwide traveling from Atlanta, Georgia. If you aren’t able to make it to one of Montana’s live events, you can check out her podcast "TANA TALKS"
